what kind of kimono would one wear at Prom night?

If I read it right, one at my age sould wear the full sleaved one. But I allso read that on very important occasions, they wear a black one with just a few family crest on given parts...

for an elegant look go for long sleeves you can get some that are quite long or like a dress.
for a modern look go for short. colours red and black as said or white and red, purple black, blue turq
you can also get traditional ones as well with the embroidery.
