I have a lavender skirt with a floral print, what type of top would look best with it?

So, years ago I bought a purple skirt, it's knee length, and somewhat dressy, I would like to make it casual, but I have no idea what type of top to wear with it, and I'm thinking that I might put black ballerina flats, but I'm not sure what top would be best, is there any type of design, fabric, or just something simple I can put with it to make it shine.

i would wear it with a pair of brown ballet flats and a plain white top
