What to wear with my purple halter top?

I recently bought a new shirt to wear for New Year's Eve. The color is purple halter with sequins lining the neckline. The problem is, I have absolutely no idea what I should I wear pants with it. The halter itself is mounted around the chest area, but loose at the bottom (the flares) and drops to about 5 cm above the knee. Any ideas? (Also, I can not wear jeans with it because the dress code for the evening is semi-official). Thank you !!!!! Thank you for all these suggestions!

i suggest black pants or skinny, if you want to be very daring to wear pants slim silver ... only if you are very, very bold ...
