How to sew two different weight stretch fabrics / set?
I'm using a Janome "Quilter's Companion" and I'm sew a light jacquard and velvet, jacquard and a light stretch velvet, and satin and velvet. When I start sewing, the machine makes a grinding noise and the wire looks like it was sucked into the can. I use a size 11 (blue peak) polyester yarn needle, and tried to adjust the tension of the bobbin, thread tension, stitch length .... there are simply too many parameters and I need help!
Stop playing with your blood. Together everything back to normal. Make sure the wound bobbin into the bobbin case correctly, make sure you have threaded the upper thread correctly. Make sure the pressure foot is up when you thread the machine. Pull both the upper thread and bobbin behind your needle. Brace yourself these "cues" for your first several stitches. whenever you encounter trouble, the first thing you need to do is brand new thread.
